Here’s a poem titled “Your Last Breath”:
In the stillness of that final sigh,
As the veil lifts, and the moments fly,
Your last breath whispers, soft and true,
Releasing all that once held you.
The struggles fade, the pain departs,
A gentle peace fills weary hearts.
The world grows dim, yet light appears,
A glow that quiets earthly fears.
Time slips away, yet love remains,
A soul unbound from earthly chains.
The echoes of a life well-spent,
Rise upward in a sweet ascent.
What lies beyond, no eye has seen,
A realm of glory, pure and serene.
Where angels sing, and joy takes flight,
Eternal day, no need for night.
So fear not when the time has come,
When breath gives way to kingdom’s drum.
For in that moment, life’s true start,
Awaits the soul, the beating heart.
Your last breath here is not the end,
It’s where forever will begin.
With every tear, He’ll wipe away,
And guide you to eternal day.
